Bogota prepares for the start of ‘the new reality’, a stage of relief after months of restrictions due to the pandemic.
The mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, announced the new measures that will govern the city, highlighting the start of several pilot plans. The reopening of the El Dorado Airport, the return of attention to the restaurant tables, as well as a new calendar for commerce and the return to classes, are part of some of the announcements.
Remember that in this new stage, the peak and schedule is maintained. On even days, people who have ID cards ending in an odd digit will be allowed to leave; and on odd days, citizens whose last digit of the ID is even may leave. This restriction applies to entry to supermarkets, commercial establishments, banks and notaries. Does not apply to restaurants.

Due to the agglomeration indices in closed spaces and the risk that still exists, the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá decreed that, for now, they will not be able to reopen the:

- Cinemas
- Theme parks
- Great shows

- Churches
