From Quibdó, in Chocó, where he has been since Monday night, President Iván Duque participated virtually in the signing of the start of the first line of the Bogotá Metro, which as he himself said is the work of most important infrastructure so far in the country.

Duque said that it is a work that means progress, employment, illusion and that it will mean a contribution to economic reactivation, not only in the capital but in the country.

But the president did not miss the opportunity to send a message that in certain sectors was understood as directed to the mayor Claudia López, who has been a recurring critic of his administration.

“Today from the National Government we accompany Bogotá in this historic milestone and we will continue to respond to all citizens because today more than ever Colombia what it requires is more administration, less politics”, Said the president.

Duque insisted that the reactivation has to unite us Colombians, just as at the time we were able to unite to understand that to face the pandemic.
