Colombian forward Marco Pérez and Uruguayan goalkeeper Guillermo De Amores were made official this Monday as new Deportivo Cali players for next season.

The news was confirmed by the sports director of the institution, Karim Gorayeb, who specified that the other incorporations, the Uruguayan goalkeeper Guillermo de Amores, and the attacker Michell Ramos, presented medical examinations on Monday to proceed to sign the contracts.

Pérez, born in Quibdó (Chocó) on September 18, 1990, arrives as a goal formula for the ‘sugar producers’ and will meet again with an old acquaintance, Ángelo Rodríguez, with whom he formed an artillery duo in Deportes Tolima.

In addition to the Ibaguereño team, the experienced Pérez has dressed the shirts of several national and international soccer teams, the first of them that of Boyacá Chicó, where he made his debut in 2008 as a professional player.

In Argentina, Pérez has played for Gimnasia y Esgrima, Independiente de Avellaneda and Belgrano; He was also in Spain, where he put on the Real Zaragoza jacket; Chile, where he was a player for O’Higgins, and Saudi Arabia, where he played for Al-Raed.

The Chocoano striker also had a stint at Independiente Medellín and now, in the full maturity of his career, he reaches the awnings of Deportivo Cali, which in the season lacked a 9 goalscorer.

According to statistics, the attacker, with a powerful physique and a strong punch, has played 420 official matches, in which he has scored 118 goals and served 31 assists.

Pérez comes from soccer in Arabia, where he arrived after playing six seasons with Tolima, where he has had the greatest success of his career.

The Chocoano and Ángelo Rodríguez had a great campaign in 2018 with Tolima, with which they were champions of the Colombian League under the direction of coach Alberto Gamero.

Pérez joins Uruguayan goalkeeper Guillermo de Amores, from the Fénix of the Uruguayan league, where he has been classified as the best goalkeeper of the season; and the attacker Michell Ramos, who comes from playing with Cúcuta Deportivo.
