The health authorities confirmed that this Wednesday Colombia reached a total of 1,218,003 confirmed cases of coronavirus. In addition, the country already registers 34,563 deceased and 1,125,184 recovered.

Faced with this scenario, Colombia already has 55,471 active cases after nine months of pandemic by COVID-19.

For this Wednesday’s results, the National Institute of Health analyzed 47,460 tests, an increase of about 6,000 compared to those taken on Tuesday.

With the numbers for this Wednesday, the country marks a slight increase in COVID-19 cases and deaths, since during the previous day they were 5,911 infected patients identified; there were also 158 dead.
