The fight between the mayor and the last ex-mayor of Medellín, Federico Gutierrez, for the appointment of the new EPM board and the Hidroituango disaster, is on fire. In a new round, Daniel Quintero assured that, during the splice, Federico Gutiérrez withheld valuable information from him that he knew about the state of Hidroituango. Gutiérrez did not show the reinsurer’s report showing design and construction errors at the hydroelectric plant. In the next few hours a document will be shown where it would be verified that information was hidden. Lawsuits are announced
Since August 2019, when Federico Gutiérrez was Mayor, Reinsurer’s opinion was known, concluding design and construction errors in Hidroituango. The document was hidden by those interested in not suing contractors.
