National Strike November 19: rally points – Politics

This Thursday, November 19, peaceful mobilizations called by the National Unemployment Committee will take place throughout the country, which is made up of numerous social, union, indigenous, student, women’s, Afro, farmer and agrarian producers.

Bogota:

The teachers’ union assured that at 9:00 am the mobilization will begin from the National Park and will go to the Plaza de Bolívar and they assured that it will be a “peaceful mobilization and preserving all biosecurity measures.”

The Farc party assured that it joins the national strike and will be this Thursday from 6 am in the Portal del Sur and will go to Portabaco (Calle 57z Sur # 75d-10), in the town of Bosa. At 9:00 am they will have another meeting point at the Machin de Ecopetrol monument (Carrera 13 # 36-24) and they will go to the Plaza de Bolívar.

For its part, the Sena union announced that it will join the mobilization against the “Uribe regime”: “The fight is today, tomorrow is late!” He wrote on social networks. They also announced that they will make a tweet as a “preamble to the national strike.” “They not only destroy peace, but also a dignified life, the economy and the stability of Colombians,” read their social networks.

Around 9 am, they will also be at the Ecopetrol headquarters located at Carrera 13 # 36-24 in the Chapinero sector. From there they will move to the Plaza de Bolívar, where the other sectors will arrive.
