The Secretary of Government, Luis Ernesto Gómez, explained that different social organizations have called mobilizations in a total of nine points in the city, from 9 in the morning until 4 in the afternoon, although the Secretary of Security, Hugo Acero, spoke of 14.

Gómez added that dialogues have been held with all these organizations, as well as meeting spaces with members of the National Police, the Bogotá Ombudsman and the social groups that call for the day of protests. “We are committed to making this a peaceful day, respecting otherness, for diverse thinking and that the deep pain caused by the case of police abuse that claimed the life of Javier Ordóñez and the tragedy that the capital experienced in the nights of September 9 and 10 are not repeated. Between all of us, we are going to respect each other, live together and find justice through institutions ”.
