And explained that, The investigative work of the Public Prosecutor’s Office and Dijin – Management of the National Police, with the support of the National Navy and the Attorney General of the State of Ecuador, allowed the identification of all the members of this structure, which would have links with the Residual Organized Armed Group ( Gaor) Oliver Sinisterra and other drug trafficking organizations.

Indeed, in addition to the seizure, 15 people associated with dissidents that traffic in Tumaco, Nariño, were captured.

The network removed the coca from Ecuadorian and Colombian ports, bound for Mexico, using boats. They also used semi-submersibles to get the caches out to sea.

The leader, Urbano, was found $ 3,467, firearms, brand watches and ammunition.

Burbano, captured on the outskirts of Cali, has a criminal record that links him to the United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia and now to the FARC dissidents, through drug trafficking businesses.

The authorities’ records show that Burbano was captured in 2004 for the crimes of illicit enrichment, drug trafficking, and the formation of illegal armed groups.

He was deprived of liberty until 2007 and two years before being released from prison, his properties were subject to property forfeiture proceedings. At that time, their properties were valued at 15 billion pesos.

During his stay in prison, he was accused of maintaining coca grower complexes guarded by the self-defense groups.
