The Secretary of the Senate of the Republic reported this Sunday that the debate on political control and motion of censure against the Minister of Defense, Carlos Holmes Trujillo, will be held in a blended or mixed manner on Thursday, October 22.
The debate, promoted by senators Jorge Enrique Robledo and Roy Barreras, joins the one held last week against the official, which will be voted on this Tuesday, October 13, which raised nonconformity in the senators, who had asked to postpone that vote.
Senators Robledo and Barreras had sent him a letter, in which they asked him to postpone that vote because that same day, in the plenary session of the Senate, the motion of censure to Minister Carlos Holmes Trujillo and a debate on the deterioration of security will be carried out. in the country.

According to the president of the Chamber, Germán Blanco, this “is absolutely respectful of the Senate of the Republic, but obviously it is not an appendix to it.
