This year, for the first time in its history and in order to comply with the social distancing protocols, the Icfes organized the test to be presented in two weekends and shortened the presentation day. Thus, each student will present the test on a single day of the weekend and during a single five-hour day.
Last weekend of November 7 and 8, 320,000 students already took the Saber 11 Test for students of calendar A and validators.
Monica Ospina Londoño, director of Icfes, invited all students to constantly consult their citation on the Institute’s website and reconfirm the day, time and place where they are cited to avoid problems during the day.
Icfes also invited students and parents to comply with the biosecurity measures stipulated for the presentation of the test and to avoid crowds at the points assigned for the exam.
This weekend the electronic Saber T&T Tests will also be presented, which this time will be done virtually and in person, according to the option that each student has chosen for their presentation. More than 83,000 students are cited for this test for students of technical and technological education.
At least 42,600 students will take the test at home and 40,700 on site. Another 812 people will present it internationally.
The test will be completely electronic both at home and on site and each student will be summoned to a single presentation day, with a maximum duration of four hours and 40 minutes.
“We are prepared to meet the students of technical and technological careers and their families. We are ready to take another electronic State test and continue to make history in the evaluation of education,” said the director of Icfes.
Students who will present the test at home and who have difficulties that require support may receive assistance through the line 01-8000 128510, through the email [email protected]., Or through a chat incorporated in the Sumadi platform, in which the electronic evidence is presented.
“We remind you that technological tools allow us to detect cases of fraud, which are investigated and prosecuted either by copying, theft of material by taking photos or other means, impersonation, and other actions that violate the transparency of the examination”, reported the official, who recalled that fraud absences entail the cancellation of the test and the inability to present it again for a period of one to five years
