Worrying images were seen this Sunday in the vicinity of the entrances to the Monserrate sanctuary, on the first day of reopening after its closure due to the new coronavirus pandemic.
The district authorities planned a whole device, to maintain social distance and to take the temperature. However, in light of what happened, it overflowed.
In social networks, several citizens published photos and videos that revealed what happened: extensive lines of people occupying a lane of Circunvalar avenue waiting to enter the funicular and the path, and informal vendors everywhere, many of them breaking biosecurity regulations.

Remember that at the top of the hill is the sanctuary of the Fallen Lord (a catholic church), but the place is not open for visitors.
This chaotic scene is presented on the second weekend after the revival in the country’s capital. The mayor of Bogotá, Claudia López, has insisted that it depends on the behavior of citizens not to return to stricter restrictions.
