The Colombian cyclist Miguel Ángel `Superman´ López (Astana) has won the seventeenth day of the 107th edition of the Tour de France, considered the queen stage, a day of high mountains and 170 kilometers starting in Grenoble and finishing in the Col de la Loze, in the Méribel ski resort.
With a time of 4 hours, 49 minutes and 8 seconds, López won the Col de la Loze, a special category, ahead of the Slovenians Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) and Tadej Pogacar (UAE Emirates) , second and third respectively.
After being part of the day’s escape, the French Julian Alaphilippe (Deceuninck-Quick Step), the Ecuadorian Richard Carapaz (Ineos Grenadier) and the Spanish Gorka Izagirre (Astana) began the final ascent with 1 minute and 50 seconds of income on the head of the peloton, which was pulled almost from the start of the stage by Mikel Landa’s Bahrain-McLaren team.
