Venezuelan artist Anthony Galindo, who was part of the Menudo and MDO group, died this Saturday in Florida (USA). after he tried to commit suicide, the family reported in a statement.
Galindo, 41, popularly known as ‘El PapiJoe’, was admitted to a hospital after an attempt on his life on September 27 and died this Saturday at 2:43 pm (Colombia time).
The family had already reported this Friday that it was preparing to “fire him”, since the damage suffered by the artist made his condition not “compatible with life.”

Knowing that Anthony’s end was near, The family opened an account on the GoFundme digital platform, where they have raised more than $ 10,000 so far.

Anthony Galindo, whose real name was Edgar Antonio Galindo Ibarra, was part of Menudo’s last stage since 1995 along with his teammates Abel Talamántez, Alexis Grullón and Didier Hernández.
Later, in 1997, he joined the pop-ballad group MDO, which emerged after the dissolution of Menudo, Musical phenomenon of the 1980s created in 1977 by producer Edgardo Díaz and from which stars such as Ricky Martin and Robi Draco Rosa emerged.
