Medellín: Details of the death of the woman who fell in her car from a 6th floor – Medellín – Colombia

As Daniela Hernández, the woman who died this Sunday, January 17, after falling into her vehicle from the sixth floor of the El Rosario clinic, Villa Hermosa headquarters, located in the east of Medellín, was identified.

The woman, according to the initial versions of the Police, was in the place in the company of her husband and while parking the vehicle, instead of reversing, she accelerated and that caused her to crash the car against the wall of the facade and continue along. Then he fell into the void on the site of a house next to the health center.

Hernández died instantly after the impact when he fell from about 20 meters high.

However, it is also being investigated if the woman, instead of parking, was taking the car out of the place and confused the accelerator pedal with the brake pedal, which caused the fatal outcome.

The vehicle, a black Chevrolet Onix, had to be extracted by parts of the house where it fell. The procedure ended at around 10 at night.

The woman was 28 years old and the mother of a 2-year-old boy. He lived in the area of ​​Villa Hermosa, the place where the fatal accident occurred, and, according to the authorities, he had only recently learned to drive.

The traffic authorities are conducting the respective investigation and gathering of evidence to determine what could have happened in the accident that killed the young woman.

A similar tragedy happened in the Paisa capital in August 2019, when a woman fell into her car from a fourth floor of a parking lot in a residential complex in the Los Colores neighborhood.

In this event, Marian Farah and her 12-year-old daughter died.

Another minor was also involved in the accident, who survived after exiting the vehicle on her own and was later hospitalized.
