During the afternoon of this Saturday, the protests that rejected the abuses of authority committed by the Police, which have been unleashed at the national level this week, continued in Cartagena. after the murder of Javier Ordoñez, at the hand of two patrollers on public roads.

In the capital of Bolívar, student leaders and other sectors called for a peaceful march, of which William Dau, mayor of the city, was a part.
When the mobilization reached the María Auxilidora sector, those who were marching ran into two police officers. It was then that some began to verbally attack them. Objects were then thrown at them and there was an intention to start a fighting dispute. The entire sequence was captured by a video published by the world news20 page.
A video of the moment full of tension, shows the moment in which Mayor William Dau approached to protect the uniformed and prevent the incident from unleashing. The march continued without major alterations.
