The mayor of Cali, Jorge Iván Ospina, rejected the case of femicide that was registered inside the MÍO Santa Mónica station on Saturday night.
The president, through his Twitter account, also announced that the authorities are already investigating this new act of blood in the city.

According to the police report, an individual entered the station, took out a firearm and without a word shot the woman in the chest.
The victim, identified as María Cristina Calle, 46, was attacked in front of two minors. The woman’s son stated that the aggressor is the victim’s ex-partner.
In addition, a source confirmed to El País that this station does not have a permanent security guard.

For its part, the Ministry of Security and Justice warned that all the necessary investigations will be carried out and that “we will go to the last consequences to clarify this fact. All the weight of the law will fall on the person responsible for this criminal act.”

Four deaths this Saturday
This femicide represents one of the four violent deaths that were registered in the capital of Valle this Saturday.
At 8:00 am on Calle 70 with Carrera 2A, in the Guayacanes neighborhood, 24-year-old Kevin Carrizales Guarán was shot dead by unknown individuals outside an automotive workshop.
Around noon, in Carrera 39D with Calle 49, in the El Retiro neighborhood, a 15-year-old minor received injuries with a corotopunzante weapon. The young man was transferred to the Carlos Holmes Trujillo hospital, but minutes after his arrival he died.
The last case was registered around 10:00 at night, at Carrera 37 with Calle 44, in the El Vergel neighborhood. There, a man of approximately 22 years of age died after receiving several impacts with a firearm.
It should be remembered that according to the most recent report by the Ministry of Security and Justice, in Cali there have been 949 violent deaths between January 1 and November 21 of this year.
53 people have been murdered in Cali so far this month.
