Mayor Claudia López decrees curfew and Prohibition in Bogotá for the final of Colombian soccer

This Sunday around noon, Mayor Claudia López announced several measures for Bogotá regarding the final of Colombian professional soccer, which will be played at night, at the El Campín stadium, between Santa Fe and América de Cali. The message of the president is that the game be enjoyed at home, with biosecurity, security and in peace

The measures include:

• Starting this Sunday, September 27 at 6:00 pm, the Transmilenio service will be suspended throughout the city.

• In Bogotá there will be Prohibition Law from this Sunday, December 27 at noon until 6:00 am on Monday, December 28.

• Additionally, there will be a general restriction of mobility between 00:00 hours until 4:00 am on December 28.

Looking ahead to the soccer game this Sunday, the mayor Claudia Lopez in the company of the Secretary of Security Hugo Acero and the commander of the Bogotá General Police Oscar Gomez Heredia announced the measures that will apply between this Sunday and Monday.

The authorities will deploy a Class A operation, as if they were going to work with the public, although fans will not be allowed to enter the El Campín stadium.

Additionally, within the framework of the ‘Goles en Paz 2.0’ strategy, the Government Secretariat agreed with the leaders of the bars the South AlbiRoja Guard of Santa Fe and Red Disturbance Bogotá of America de Cali, promote activities so that the Colombian soccer final is lived from home, avoiding crowds as much as possible and controlling the use of gunpowder in public space and any behavior that puts the lives of fans at risk.
