The month of May has just started and Samsung has been quick to launch the different security patches for your main flagships, in a movement that puts them ahead of the rest of their rivals.
There was a time when the different monthly security patches arrived throughout the month, but Samsung has been improving this availability in recent times, and on May 1 it has already made this patch available for many of its high-end devices such as the Galaxy S20, but also for the Galaxy Fold and the Galaxy Note 10.
In fact, Google, which is usually the first to launch security patches for its devices, has not yet released the pertinent ones for its latest Pixels, with which the South Koreans have advanced in a feature that is highly valued by users.
While we’re only talking about a security patch focused on general fixes and performance improvements right now, this new build weighs 170 MB which is a little more than what the user is used to downloading for this type of patches.
Note that this security update for Samsung’s high-end is not yet available in all markets or for all users, since it is somewhat staggered. In any case, from AndroidPolice they already have access to the May security patch, which is undoubtedly good news if you are the owner of these devices.
Apart from the aforementioned Galaxy S20, this security patch has also begun to be implemented in the Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Note 10, with which it seems that the South Koreans have been in a big hurry this month to make all their devices more secure than any other.
