People from the community of the Pato district, in the municipality of Zaragoza, confirmed to a regional media the murder of six people in that area of Bajo Cauca in Antioquia.

So far, the Army reported that it sent troops to the area to verify the information and expand the information on the information that is circulating.

This is the second case in less than a week of violence in this area of Bajo Cauca. Last Thursday, September 3, two police officers died and one more was injured in an armed attack at kilometer 42 of the Caucasia – Zaragoza road.
A day later, also in Bajo Cauca, some 600 people were displaced from the Guarumo township, Cáceres municipality, due to threats from illegal armed groups.
