The minor made headlines on Wednesday after her family alerted her to her disappearance on Tuesday night. According to her father, Jorge Hernán Chávez Camargo, the girl stated that she wanted to eat ice cream and then her parents decided to go to a Carulla in the area to buy it for her. “But when we returned he was no longer at home,” says the father.

The testimony of the security guard of the residential complex where the family lives indicated that the minor had left minutes after her parents left the Carulla.
