The possible candidacy of Álvaro Uribe’s eldest son has unleashed all kinds of criticism. The journalist assured that Uribism will not be victorious in the 2022 elections
Ernesto Macías, Honorio Vásquez and Gabriel Velásquez, as well as the House Representative Edward Rodríguez, fervent Uribistas, decided to launch on November 16 a glimpse of what would be for them the most accurate option in search of a new Uribista president. This is Tomás, eldest son of former President Álvaro Uribe, who would be supported by the community. However, it is believed that a surprise that Uribismo could bring would be the candidacy of Federico Gutierrez, former mayor of Medellín.
The hint of the possible candidacy of Tomás Uribe for 2022 has unleashed all kinds of criticism. María Jimena Duzán spoke on W Radio questioning what merit Tomás Uribe had in addition to being the son of a caudillo, she declared that the country only knew that he belonged to the business world since his father assumed the presidency. However, the journalist assured that the time when the children of the former president were born with privileges and with the innate aspiration to the presidency was in the past, Colombia cannot bear one more dolphin.
So far, Tomás Uribe has ruled out a possible candidacy for 2022.
