The 45-year-old man was sentenced to 13 years in prison for the abuse of his daughter and niece, the prosecution reported. The events took place in Medellín.
“According to the investigation carried out by a prosecutor from the Center for Comprehensive Attention to Victims of Sexual Abuse (Caivas), since 2012, when his daughter was 11 years old, the man made undue touching. The harassment lasted until 2018”Said the Attorney General’s Office.
In addition, the investigation established that the man carried out the same conduct against his 7-year-old niece, in 2014.
The 20th Circuit Criminal Court of Medellín sentenced him for the crime of aggravated abusive sexual acts with a minor under 14 years of age, in homogeneous and successive competition.
In Medellín, complaints of sexual abuse against minors can be made through the social 123 of the Mayor’s Office or line 141 of the ICBF.
