(CNN Spanish) – The questioned president of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, referred on Saturday in official television transmission and social networks to Juan Guaidó, president of the National Assembly and recognized as president in charge of 55 countries, as a fugitive
of justice.
Shortly after, he added that he hopes that the courts will judge this entire macabre plan and that an historic and exemplary judgment will be made in defense of national sovereignty.
The vice president of Communications, Jorge Rodríguez assured that a calligraphic certified that the signing of the contract with the Silvercorp company was from Guaidó. Guaidó has distanced himself from said plan and denies having signed said document. This Friday the Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, assured that 22 arrest warrants were issued without specifying the names of the people. When asked by CNN if an arrest warrant was issued against the opposition leader, he assured that he will not advance his actions.
For his part, the Foreign Minister, Jorge Arreaza, assured that on Friday before the United Nations Council they will present evidence that – he affirms – links the United States and Colombia with a conspiracy against Maduro. Bogotá spoke out in a statement to deny the accusations against it and detract from the credibility of the complaint of a new coup attempt and the accusations against the Colombian government.
For his part, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, said on Friday that if he had taken action on Venezuela he would not be a soldier by soldier but with an army, which could be called an invasion.

The Minister of Defense of Venezuela, Vladimir Padrino López, announced this Saturday the capture of three people near the town of Santa Cruz, La Guaira state, located in the coastal area very close to Caracas.
With these captures, there are 34 people detained in the framework of intelligence actions aimed at dismantling the call by the Government “Operation Gideon”.
