The story of a couple of little cousins ​​from Tunja who, with a screen and a wooden keyboard, played at having a computer, had an outcome that seems to be taken from a fairy tale.

A foundation that saw the Caracol News report moved heaven and earth to, in record time, give little Justin and Anny a fully functional and portable computer, who longed for this device to do their homework and have leisure time.

Carlos Maldonado, director of the Youth Colombia World Foundation, who is in charge of giving these devices to children who need it most, came to the children’s house in a marginal neighborhood of Tunja.

“The idea is to be able to make life easier for children at this time,” said Maldonado as he handed over the green laptop that filled this family with happiness and made them forget, even for a moment, the difficult situation the country is experiencing due to COVID-19 coronavirus count.

Little Anny, visibly excited, thanked for this new implement that will be key in her education: “Now I will be able to do my homework and from the new computer.”

Karen Molano Suesca, aunt of the two minors, thanked all those kind-hearted people who put themselves in the task of fulfilling the dream of their nephews.

“They are happy and joyful because because they can have their own computer and not that plastic one, they will be able to work on it,” he said.

Now, to complete the dream, they need an internet connection, since they do not have this service in their humble home.
