Leaving a barber shop, a man was killed in Itagüí – Itagüí Hoy

A 29-year-old man was shot and killed in the hours of the night of last Thursday, December 18, 2020 in Itaguí.

According to Colonel Daniel Mazo, operational commander of the Metropolitan Police of the Aburrá Valley, the man, identified as Danny Alexander Cardona, was leaving a barbershop when he was approached by two subjects who attacked his humanity.

With this there are already four homicides in less than a week in Itagüí, the first occurred in the Las Margaritas neighborhood, the second in the Santa Catalina neighborhood, the third in Villa Paula and the last in Bariloche.

Regarding these murders, Colonel Mazo pointed out that the Judicial Police are verifying and investigating each one of the facts to find those responsible and clarify what happened.

“These are isolated events, at this moment we do not find any situation of confrontation of criminal gangs in the municipality, the difficulty we had was in the village of El Ajizal and there we have a good containment plan with the uniformed,” explained Mazo.
