Coronavirus cases in Colombia today, April 3:
Antioquia continues to appear in the first place of the daily report, as it has been happening for a couple of weeks, and today it has the highest number of new cases, with 2,353. Barranquilla was located in second place and registered 1,745 more infected, followed by Bogotá with 1,405 and Atlántico with 1,020, in the unfortunate ‘top 4’.
On the list are Valle (618), Santa Marta (310), Guajira (184), Cundinamarca (158), Risaralda (158), Cesar (150), Caldas (140) and Córdoba (146).
Deaths from coronavirus in Colombia today, April 3:
The death toll from the disease stood at 163, about 29 less than those reported the previous day. Most of the deaths reported correspond to months and days prior to this, a total of 146.
The youngest victim featured in today’s report is a 35-year-old man who lived in Medellín, and he was diagnosed with cardiovascular disease. The oldest person reported as killed by coronavirus in the last hours was a 101-year-old man who lived in Roldanillo (Valle del Cauca) and suffered from hypertension.
