Amid the confrontations in the center of Bogotá between protesters and members of the Police, two congressmen were involved in the excesses and were attacked by agents.
According to the representative to the Chamber Katherine Miranda, an officer struck her on one knee while trying to calm the rioters.

In a video on the Facebook page of Congressman Inti Asprilla, it can be seen how the congressmen argued with the police about possible mistreatment that some young people received in the middle of the demonstrations.

This occurred close to Bolivar Square in Bogotá minutes after the confrontation between protesters and members of Esmad began.
