This after a federal judge in Los Angeles dismissed this Friday the lawsuit of the United States women’s soccer team with which they expected to obtain a salary equal to that of the men.
Judge R. Gary Klausner, the case manager, said, in part, that the women opted for a payment that weighed more than the fixed-yield bonds, complicating comparisons with how men were paid.
US Soccer had previously said that women are paid differently because “they specifically requested and negotiated a completely different contract from the men’s national team, despite a similar pay-per-match agreement being offered and rejected during past negotiations. ”
