The 11th Administrative Court of the Bogotá Circuit accepted the modulation of the ruling requested by the Attorney General’s Office and by the prosecuting attorney, confirming the requirement of the PCR test for coronavirus but knocking down the 14-day quarantine for international travelers.
“The measure of quarantine or preventive isolation is abolished for a period of 14 days in the place of housing or accommodation planned in advance by each traveler,” the decision reads.
Judge Giovanni Legro agreed in his ruling “to the request for supplementation (modulation) of the sentence delivered by this office on November 25, 2020, added on December 3 of the same year by Mr. Alberto Elías González Mebarak -the author of the guardianship that overturned the resolution that raised the requirement of proof – and the 84 judicial attorney I for Administrative Matters ”.
