What the man can go and tell things how they happened, and that he will never be able to say that he tried to interfere in any of those elections, nor that President Duque’s visit was offered to favor another person in one way or another, ”said Cancino on radio frequency.
He also explained that the way in which the complaint was filed against the former president leaves open the possibility of a retraction, a conciliation. “Why this is not about harming someone. Where the ambassador does not file a complaint, he would be taking as true the statements of former president Santos, and that would put in danger the bilateral relations and also the security and legal and family tranquility of Francisco Santos ”, he said.
