On his Twitter account, Jorge Iván Ospina, mayor of Cal i, asked citizens not to buy tickets for concerts that are supposed to take place in the city and during the fair. He has been emphatic in announcing that he will not allow any recital that gathers people and generates crowds to take place.
In the last hours, Ospina learned about a promotion for a concert that, supposedly, would be held in Cali in person. Singers of the stature of Jessy Uribe, Yeison, Jiménez, Luis Alberto Posada and Tony Vega would perform at this event.

The event was scheduled to start on December 25, 2020.
Faced with this flyer, Ospina once again emphasized that such concerts are totally prohibited by the municipality.
“We do not have biosecurity conditions to perform concerts, I must point out to the opinion that in this fire we will not allow face-to-face events,” trilled the president.
And he recommended to the Caleños not to buy tickets for these concerts, he told them “not to throw away the money.”
