The son of the renowned singer Javier Vásquez, Andrés Fernando Vásquez Salazar, 36 years old, was found dead inside a house located on a third floor, in the Los Andes neighborhood in the city of Neiva.
According to the preliminary report from the authorities, the body showed no signs of violence and was in a state of decomposition.
The artist Javier Vásquez confirmed the news through his Instagram account, where he wrote a heartfelt message about the departure of his son.

“It has not been easy to assimilate your unexpected departure, beloved son. Conversations, laughter and cups of coffee were pending to live them in your company. Vásquez Salsazar was apparently last seen on Sunday when he met a friend. However, since then the man had not shown any signs of life, until Tuesday night, when some relatives went to the residence to look for him and found him dead inside a room.
The authorities arrived at the residence and carried out the removal of the body to transfer it to Legal Medicine, where they will carry out the rigorous procedure and thus determine exactly the causes of death.
It is known of the 36-year-old man that he was not currently working and that he also suffered from epileptic seizures.
It should be noted that years ago, a brother of Vásquez Salazar also died in that house, when he fell from the third floor, apparently accidentally.
