Seven people were killed in the last hours during the protests on Wednesday night, unleashed as a result of the case of Javier Ordóñez, who died after a fatal attack by two agents of the Bogotá Metropolitan Police.
The deaths were confirmed last night by the National Police.

A student in Suba
Relatives of Julieth Ramírez, a 19-year-old psychology and English student, say that the young woman died from a stray bullet when she was going to a friend’s house.
“In that disorder that was in Suba La Gaitana … a stray bullet. I don’t know if it’s from the police or the thugs. They killed my daughter, “said Harold Ramírez, Julieth’s father, who called for investigations and justice.
“My friend tells me that my daughter collapsed, she came here dead,” added the father who maintained that she was not participating in the protests.
A domiciliary and a minor in Verbenal, Usaquén
Cristian Hernández was 24 years old, received a bullet impact in the face and died in the middle of a public street.
“There were real bursts,” said Liliana Buchelli, one of the women who witnessed the confrontations, referring to the police, and recounts, “Cristian was passing here, he came from work and here a bullet hits him.”

“He was working. The policemen were shooting like crazy … everyone was shooting. He was precisely shot,” said one of the witnesses and indicated that Germán fell while riding a bicycle when he was hit in the head by one of the witnesses. the bullets.
Inhabitants of Suba Rincón picked him up and took him to the Suba Hospital, but the man died.
“Is that the kind of protection that Bogota citizens have? What more do they want? It was my son that they took from me. I only ask for justice for my son, who is going to give him back?” Said Graciela Valero, mother of the young man.
In Soacha
There is information on two other fatal victims in the municipality. But there are no names so far.

According to the report of the National Police, there are 140 people injured.
