A Bogotá judge issued arrest warrants for two of the uniformed men investigated for the death of law student Javier Ordóñez.
The Prosecutor’s Office requested the arrest of the uniformed men to take them to a hearing for the imputation of charges for the crime of aggravated homicide.
The uniformed men will be taken before a guarantee control judge, to legalize their capture, impute charges and request an assurance measure in a prison.
Investigators from the Human Rights Directorate considered that there is enough evidence to bring the two uniformed men to justice and they are still investigating the possible omission committed by other police officers.
Juan Camilo Lloreda Cubillos and Harby Damián Rodríguez Díaz will be charged.
