The DT announced that the Colombian has not yet recovered from his injury and will not be in the game. The midfielder has a calf problem that has not allowed him to train normally and for which he has already missed the games against Chelsea and Leicester. .

“James is not here yet. It is too early to put him at risk, he is working,” said the DT at a press conference this Friday.

“James is out for three games because we have games every three days, the problem is not big. It is a small problem in his calf, he is recovering. Nothing special.”, assured the DT, who is confident of being able to count on the steering wheel in the Cup match on Wednesday against Manchester United.

Ancelotti was also consulted about Everton’s defensive capacity in the last games in which the Colombian has not been.
