Fernando Ruiz, Minister of Health, indicated, for his part, that the biosafety protocol for beaches in Colombia has already been defined, which includes the rental of booths, lockers, hammocks, among other elements, in order to reduce the risk of transmission of covid-19 in the development of these activities.
The protocol, contained in Resolution 1538, defines that the person responsible for the beach (municipalities with jurisdiction over tourist beaches and in protected areas) and the respective concessionaire for tourist use must have an action plan developing five phases: determination, preparation of beach actors, beach load capacity study, review and recommendations for operation, and start and operation of activities.
“We will have beach hours to avoid the possibility of unauthorized events at night. It is an invitation to responsible use of the beaches “, Minister Ruiz asserted.
