Through ISA Intervial Chile, a subsidiary of the group and the main operator of interurban highway concessions in that country, the acquisition of 100% of the shares of the Concesión Costera Cartagena Barranquilla SAS, in accordance with the sale contract signed on October 24, 2019.
“We aim to be an additional support to the economic reactivation of the country, also contributing to territorial strengthening, to the protection of the environment and the construction of a social fabric ”, indicated ISA through a statement.
“With this closure, in which work teams from different countries were involved, We successfully completed several months of various procedures before the regulatory authorities, insurers and funders of the concession. We hope, with our subsidiary ISA Intervial Chile, to be a relevant operator in Colombia and that this acquisition will help to continue contributing to progress in the Caribbean region with the road infrastructure business, just as we have been doing with the energy transmission business ”, he noted Bernardo Vargas Gibsone, president of the ISA Group.
The value of the referred transaction exceeds COP 2 trillion including capital and debt. With the closing, the group will consolidate in its financial statements an approximate Ebitda of COP 222 billion pesos, thus contributing to the goals defined for 2030.
