As part of the process of attending to the thousands of complaints from users of different airlines, due to the repeated failure by travelers to comply with the flights purchased by them, the Superintendency of Transportation issued a preventive order to the Mexican airline Interjet, so that you must clarify your situation before users, as not only passengers but also travel agencies have reported.

In this sense, the control and surveillance body obliged the airline to issue and disseminate a press release indicating to users the channels and schedules available to receive and respond in a timely manner to requests, complaints and claims submitted by the users.
In addition, said communication must clearly state if the operating permit is in the process of being canceled before the aeronautical authority or the itineraries scheduled for the months of November and December 2020.; and if authorization was requested from the aeronautical authority to operate new routes with origin or destination to Colombia with their itineraries or those previously approved, and the status of the request.
In addition, Interjet will have to present and implement, before the Supertransporte, a user service plan that includes specific points such as the actions to be implemented to guarantee the reception and attention of the complaints and claims presented by the users, the channels and schedules and procedures, among others.

In addition, you will have to send to the control body the user service system that you have at the airports where you operate in Colombia.
In case of not complying with the administrative measure, Interjet is exposed to the imposition of successive fines of up to 500 monthly legal minimum wages in force.
“The Supertransporte has had regular contact with the company, but it is not only important that they respond to the authorities, but to the users,” stressed Camilo Pabón Almanza, Superintendent of Transportation.
As it is recalled, the situation of Interjet with the fulfillment of flights and schedules have affected more than 5,000 travelers, mainly between Colombia and Mexico.
