Prosecutors of the Support Structure of the Bogotá Section They managed to impact two criminal networks called ‘Los K’ and ‘Fénix Admon’, dedicated to theft in the modalities of robbery and tickling in the articulated buses of the TransMilenio mass transportation system.

In the operations, carried out by the Sijín judicial police, 12 people were captured, who were left with a security measure in a prison establishment.

‘The K’

This criminal group was dedicated to robbing people on buses and different stations of the system in the form of robbery. The criminals used knives to injure the resisting victims.

After the investigations carried out, the authorities carried out the arrests of Roque Jacinto García Caballero, José Breiner Martínez Polo and Jesús Daniel Mora Winclar, who would be involved in at least six criminal events with an approximate amount of 10 million pesos.

In the concentrated hearings, the Prosecutor’s Office charged them with the crimes of qualified and aggravated theft and aggravated injuries, charges that were not accepted by any of the defendants.

‘Fenix ​​Admon’

This criminal network was dedicated to theft under the modality of tickling the articles. The members of the gang committed crimes at the Transmilenio stations of CAD, Paloquemao, Ricaurte and Calle 75.

In addition, it was known that, allegedly, uniformed members of the National Police assigned to the security of Transmilenio were part of this group and they would be in charge of informing the rest of the gang when to enter a station so that they would not encounter another criminal group.

Once inside, the men stood at the doors of the buses and took advantage of the crowds of people to commit thefts. The stolen items were then handed over to a woman, who was always dressed as a nurse, to keep them.

The patrolmen, as established, allegedly received between $ 350,000 and $ 400,000 every time this group entered to steal the stations where they committed crimes.

The investigated detainees were identified as Edison Swen Orjuela Castillo, Jaime Millán Arias, Michael Andrés Ruiz Fonseca, Wilmer Andrés Bermúdez Ballesteros, Ángelo Eduvey Angarita Roa, Anderson Stiven Orjuela Martin and Laura Alejandra Ardila Pinzón.

Equally, Patrolmen Yeison Dayan Guzmán López and Óscar Orlando Olivera Vargas were captured and prosecuted.

The alleged members of this group are linked in approximately 20 criminal events, for which the prosecuting body charged them with the crimes of conspiracy to commit a crime, aggravated theft, bribery for giving or offering and own bribery.

Neither accepted their responsibility.
