During a government council in Los Mártires, one of the towns with the most informal vendors, the mayor, Claudia López, announced that this population will have to pay for the use of public space.

“Just as whoever wants to park on the street will pay, because whoever wants to use it on a platform in a year will pay and we begin to organize, so they know that we are going to work in that direction. The best security is the organization ”, warned Claudia López.
But the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá is not only betting on the charge for the use of the streets, but also that its occupation is by shifts for hours and days.
