India Catalina Awards 2021: these are the winners of the gala | THE UNIVERSAL

On the night of this Friday, March 26, the awards gala was held at the Cooperation Training Center that extol the best of the Colombian industry: the India Catalina.

These awards are delivered within the activities of the Cartagena de Indias International Film Festival, which this year due to the pandemic, was carried out in an unconventional way between virtual and face-to-face.

Cristina Hurtado and Jose Narváez were in charge of presenting the ceremony, while Kevin Flórez was the one who made the audience and viewers of the gala dance. With ‘La invited to dance’ and ‘La Pikotera’ the ‘King of the champeta’ opened the night in which the best talents in the audiovisual industry were awarded.

This year, the honoree Kepa Amuchastegui received the Víctor Nieto Award for a Lifetime, which was presented by the actress María Cecilia Botero.

To close the night, ‘Planchando el spite’ made up of Majida, Ilona, ​​Alejandro Martínez, Juan Felipe Samper, Yolanda Rayo and Natalia Bedoya made their appearance on the set of RTVC.

It is worth mentioning that the Awards featured 7 alternate sets located in different places in Colombia: three in Bogotá, RTVC Signal Colombia, Canal Trece, Capital – Public Communication System; in Medellín, Canal Teleantioquia; in Cali, Canal Telepacífico, in Bucaramanga, Canal TRO and in Manizales, Canal Telecafé.
