The Ministry of Health reported that, in the last 24 hours, there were 6,698 new cases of covid-19 in the country. In total, 23,949 PCR tests and 9,516 antigens were processed today.
With this number, the portfolio reported that in mid-September, and since the pandemic began in the country, 728,590 infections have been recorded, of which 95,878 are still positive.
On the other hand, 165 deceased were carried, of which 149 belonged to previous days. With this, Colombia adds 23,288 deaths from the virus, and 607,978 recovered.
On the last day, Bogotá was the city that reported the most cases, with 1,444, followed by Cartagena, with 239; Barranquilla, with 128, and Santa Marta, which had 49.
When reviewing the figures by department, Antioquia reported 1,083, followed by Valle del Cauca, with 468; Santander, with 465; Cesar, with 356 and Cundinamarca, with 331.
In total, there are 1,388 conglomerates in the country. The territories are: Amazonas, Antioquia (Ituango), Arauca, Atlántico, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Boyacá, Bolívar, Caldas, Caquetá, Cartagena, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, Norte de Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Santa Marta, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle, Vaupés, Vichada, Guaviare and Guainía.
The departments that registered the fewest cases were Vaupés, with three, Chocó, with four, and San Andrés, with five.
When reviewing the data in the world, the Ministry of Health confirmed that there are 29.3 million infected. That there are 928,890 deaths from the pandemic, and that 19.9 million people have recovered.
