In Medellín: plane crash in Copacabana, Antioquia – Medellín – Colombia

According to information from BRAC, Colombian Aeronautical Search and Rescue, and the authorities of the municipality of Copacabana, the incident occurred after the aircraft took off from the Olaya Herrera Airport.

The two people who were inside the aircraft (pilot and passenger) have already been evacuated and are being treated.

As reported by the Olaya Herrera Airport, Civil Aeronautics is already carrying out investigations to clarify what happened to this aircraft, which is part of an aeroclub in the city of Barranquilla.

The municipal mayor’s office confirmed the fact and indicate that they are awaiting the official report from the fire department.
