A driver of a truck that was moving on the Juan de Acosta-San José de Saco road in the department of Atlántico was required by the authorities.
The man who was transporting a load of pork apparently did not have the documents in order and they were going to immobilize the vehicle.
“They were going to impose a subpoena, because it does not appear in the Truora system (official platform that authorizes the mobilization of workers during mandatory isolation), but they have no way to verify, since they have no signal to know that the man is with all the of the law, “said one of the witnesses in the video.
The driver, full of anger, assured that this hearing was unfair, so he began to struggle with the agents.
Although the police managed to immobilize the man on the concrete of the road, you can see how one of the officers kicks him in the head.
Visibly beaten, the man stands up and continues to fight against the agents who finally manage to arrest him and accuse him of disrespecting authority. “Let go of me and I’m still. Hey, you’re hanging me!” the man yelled.
The Atlantic Highway Police confirmed to the newspaper El Tiempo that the incident occurred on the Atlantic roads three months ago, but the video was released this week on networks.
The video recalled the death of lawyer Javier Ordóñez, after a police abuse in Bogotá.
