CAdavid, 34, did not accept having killed the minor despite the fact that he was the one who led the authorities to find the girl’s body, after assuring at the time that he had committed the crime.
The Prosecutor’s Office also provided some details of how the minor was found, at dawn on Friday, in a wooded area of the eastern Antioquia municipality, noting that she had blows to the face and head.
The man had picked up the girl on Thursday at his home, as he usually did, according to the minor’s relatives, and had told the mother that he would take her back at 5:00 pm. When this did not happen, the family and the authorities of Rionegro, where Sofía lived, began the search. The man was found with signs of disorientation and traces of blood.
“They drugged me”
Cadavid spoke about the case with the Mi Oriente portal, in an interview that was published last Saturday. In this he assured that he was drugged: “I was going to take the daughter to the house where Luisa lives and from there I was drugged, I lost track of time, space and decisions … and from then on I don’t remember anything.”
The man explained to the media that “my head is full of bumps, lacerations on my neck, on my hands, on my fists, on various parts of my hands, as if I had fought with someone. I would be incapable of attempting against the life of my daughter, I would have taken her first ”.
The man said he was drugged when he was leaving his dad’s business and that he doesn’t remember anything about what happened that night.
“I don’t think I attacked the girl,” he said, “I didn’t consider myself to be okay and I had those statements. To have said those things, more than revenge was the frustration and humiliation to which I was subjected by that family in recent months. They do nothing but ask for money and things to see it for half an hour or an hour, “he said.
