The National Registry set the price of the new electronic card at 52,000 pesos, which is available to citizens who want to obtain it, starting this Tuesday.

This was confirmed to EL TIEMPO sources of the electoral entity, after the analysis announced by the National Registrar, Alexánder Vega, who had said that the value would be the same as the duplicate of the ID (46,000 pesos), plus an “adjustment.”

“I have always said that the value must be maintained plus an adjustment of the Consumer Price Index (CPI). We are talking about two cards in one: one electronic, physical, and the other digital, on the cell phone. We are looking for an accessible price for Colombians, maintaining the same prices as they are today, ”Vega said last week.

After this evaluation that the Registrar’s Office was doing, it was determined that the price for the new ID will be 52,000 pesos, which must be paid by citizens who want to acquire it.
