The country dawns with the news of a new massacre, this time in Antioquia where 5 people were killed and one more was injured in the municipality of Andes.

As possible reasons for the event, the authorities analyze territorial problems related to local drug trafficking in the village of Taparto.
On the other hand, for the moment this crime is attributed to the ‘Gulf clan’, whose members would have arrived at the scene of the homicide in search of the victims, who They were identified through photographic material, tortured and killed with coup de grace.

According to the first versions, apparently the murderers inquired with the victims about the location of the narcotic substances that were going to be commercialized in this area.

The area is influenced by the armed crime group ‘Los Guadalupe’ under the command of alias Guadalupe, who are dedicated to drug trafficking, extortion and homicides in the municipalities of Andes and Jardín. This group would have a criminal alliance with the organized criminal group ‘La Terraza’, which operates in the Aburrá Valley.
In addition, in Andes there is also sporadic presence of the southwestern substructure of the ‘Gulf clan’, commanded by alias La Erre, Rubén or el Cura, who would use the strategic corridor of the Taparto de Andes village,
