A commotion in Medellín caused the death of Campo Elías Galindo, a renowned historian and researcher from Medellín, who also served as a member of the Colombia Humana coordinator in this capital.
According to preliminary information, Galindo’s lifeless body was found in his home by a relative, who immediately notified the authorities.

Galindo worked as a professor at the National University of Colombia in Medellín, he was a Master in Urban Planning at the same institution.
Although the authorities will expand information on Thursday afternoon, relatives and acquaintances of the historian expressed through social networks that Galindo had been brutally murdered.

The mayor of Medellín, Daniel Quintero, joined the voices of rejection and sadness over the death of the teacher. “There will be justice: Police and Prosecutor’s Office are working to capture those responsible. The Mayor’s Office has arranged up to 20 million for those who help us in identification tasks.”
