At the end of March we told you that 343 Industries and Xbox Game Studios had prepared an initiative to help the fight against the coronavirus (COVID-19) through Halo 5: Guardians. Today, just over 1 month after launching said movement, it was revealed that it had a great acceptance and that thanks to the support of the players, they managed to collect millions of pesos.

The franchise managers revealed on Twitter that the initiative to combat the coronavirus inspired by Halo It was a success and they managed to raise a total of $ 430,000 USD in collaboration with Meta Threads and Global Giving.

With this initiative, players were able to buy the March 27 to April 30 Relief and Recovery Packwhich is a content pack for Halo 5: Guardians that was sold in exchange for $ 129 MXN. In addition to this, the We Got This Spartans t-shirt was available, which sold for $ 24.95 USD on the Meta Thread page and also included 1 month subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Microsoft would spend all the money raised from the sale of this shirt from April 8 to 22 to the Global Giving organization.
