Through his social networks, Senator Gustavo Petro, head of Colombia Humana, came out in defense of Justo Ernesto Villarraga, one of the four people that the Dijín of the Police and the Prosecutor’s Office captured as alleged members of an urban cell behind the attacks on Bogotá in the riots of November 2019 and even last September 9 and 10.

Justo Ernesto Villarraga was captured along with, Ruth García Estrada, Greyssi Alexandra Perilla, alias La Pola and Miguel Andrés Parga, who were followed up, videos and intercepted of their communications with which it was determined that, in the opinion of the Dijín and the Prosecutor’s Office, made up the cells of agitators and vandals that infiltrated the social protest in Bogotá.

In fact, alias Justo, as the authorities point out to Villaraga, was seized a notebook, revealed by EL TIEMPO with instructions on how to recruit young people, train them to participate in acts of vandalism and even avoid their capture.
These photos were part of the evidence about meetings of the accused with alleged university recruits.
According to officials from the Special Group against Urban Terrorism, who have already begun to analyze the information, the recruitment tasks should begin in popular sectors of Bogotá.

“They were looking in the neighborhoods, in entities that offered social assistance programs in Bogotá to gradually determine possible members of their network,” said one of the researchers.

EL TIEMPO sought out Senator Gustavo Petro, to establish if he was going to bring any action to support Villarraga.
In this regard, Petro made it known, through his communications office, that he cannot comment on the current situation of Justo Villarraga, because it is part of a process of which he is not fully aware.

Justo Ernesto Villarraga, remains detained in the National Model Prison, in Bogotá, where he was sent by a judge with Guarantees Control functions, after endorsing the evidence collected by the group against Urban Terrorism of Dijín and the Attorney General’s Office of the Nation.
